This message will self destruct in 5 seconds:
Mission Impossible 5 now is in the pipeline for production. Tom Cruise has signed on to star in the fifth installment in the Mission Impossible franchise. This is all we know however for neither the director nor any other casting or plot details have been officially confirmed. It’s been two decades after kicking off the first blockbuster of mission impossible series. From hanging off the tallest skyscraper to free climbing on Dead Horse Point, Utah, Cruise has always been the one to impress the audience with his death defying stunts. What Mission Impossible 5 has in store for us, we can only guess but I’m we won’t be disappointed from the performances in previous movies.
Iron Man soars in the box offices across the globe collecting a total of 680 million worldwide. IM3 had the second best opening weekend of all time behind The Avengers which grossed 207m towards IMs 177m. Iron Man 3 also set a new Imax record, for the first time in history the better quality audio and screen formats generated close to 30 million in a single weekend. The superhero saga has overtaken the final international box office of Amazing Spider-Man($490m), The Dark Knight ($470m), Spider-Man ($418m) and Spider-Man 2 ($410m), having surpassed last week the final tallies of Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America. The reason for such an accomplished reception IM3 plays a large spectrum of audiences tiled towards older men. According to Disney, audiences were 55 percent above the age of 25 and 61 percent male. Disney also reports that couples made up 52 percent of viewers, while families accounted for 27 percent, and teens 21 percent. Marvel did a great job in augmenting Iron Man audience with the release of The Avengers.
A decent conclusion to a very decent trilogy. Men in black three represents a partial return to form and interesting story, not as much as the first but certainly better than the second which was made up of recycled materials. The film isn’t a must see, or even a should, but maybe if your in the mood a possibility. The film takes it’s time in developing and exploring the reasons for the reason Agent K has been in an even worse mood than in the previous two movies. Soon we learn that Agent K’s ultimate nemesis Boris the Animal has escaped his prison on the moon and in order to defeat him Will Smith has to travel back in time to help the younger Agent K played by Josh Brolin defeat Boris the Animal or future K will die. It’s an interesting premise and unique story, which ends in somewhat of a tragedy but is quickly swept under the rug. In the past Will Smith’s father helps Agent K but dies in the process and Will Smith watches Agent K mind wipe the boy version of Will Smith. Its an entertaining block buster, but surely not something to be overly excited to watch.
Being a college student I am in the midst of a revolutionary change throughout media. Smart Phones and Tablets are taking over the market, which is allowing media to spread like wildfire within days of its discovery. Because of this new methods for utilizing these devices for the film industry is a priority in order to maintain high revenues. At the “Future of Film Conference” idea’s were passed around on how to achieve this goal. One of the main sponsors was BitTorrent which was certainly surprising. Piracy of any copyright media is a widespread plaque that is only growing with the number of media outlets. Matt Mason described ideas for BitTorrent to become assets in advertisement and marketing plans. “If you can’t beat em join em”. The internet is slowing down due to the large amounts of video being uploaded on a daily basis. BitTorrent would be a vital instrument in sending large data files across the internet. Because of how the internet was designed this is a large problem that the 21st century faces in today’s world of media.

“F. Scott Fitzgerald’s ambition for The Great Gatsby was scarcely modest: “Something new — something extraordinary and beautiful and simple and intricately patterned,” the novelist wrote to his editor of his plans for the 1925 novel.” Whats to come? The viewer can only guess with the support of the Epic teaser trailer that gets your blood pumping as you watch the grander and momentousness of each scene.
Disney Animation steps up its game by delivering an animated film full of heart and emotion, packed full of enough video game references to please any gamer. Rich Moore’s Wreck-It Ralph is an adventure, which the whole family can enjoy, which makes great use of 3D and has a surprisingly detailed well-written story. The original idea is certainly an interesting concept for a movie.
The film’s premise is about Wreck-It Ralph who longs to be loved as much as his games perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix. The problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy, but they do love heroes. When a modern, first person shooter game arrives, Wreck-It Ralph see’s the game as his ticket to fame and happiness. He sneaks into the game with a simple plan — win a medal — but instead reeks havoc and releases a lethal enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. His only hope is Vanellope von Schweetz, a young troublemaking “glitch” from a candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy.
Wreck-It Ralph is one of my favorite Animated Movies and delves deep into the morals of the main characters. It’s a perfect movie for all ages and has many subtitles that aren’t as easy to catch as you would expect from a PG movie.
